Greetings From Elevator U,

As current President of Elevator U, I would like to take just a few moments of your time to introduce our association and the benefits it provides to professionals such as yourself. As we enter a new year, it’s always good to focus on the things we can do better, for ourselves and for those we serve.
Elevator U is an association that recognizes the need for colleges, universities, government agencies and public institutions to have an organized vehicle to promote excellence in design, construction and maintenance for all forms of vertical transportation. The primary vehicle for filling this need is education and networking. As technologies, materials and business practices continually change, we need to ensure we have an organization to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technical expertise to properly build and maintain vertical transportation that is safe, durable and efficient.
As a member of Elevator U, you will not only garner valuable business relationships, great friendships and the knowledge needed to keep you up-to-date in our industry; but great benefits as well. Here are just a few:
- Valuable educational sessions, including continuing education opportunities.
- Affordable annual conference conveniently held on the campus of a college or university.
- Access to online forums, membership list, student safety program, past conference videos, job board and more!
- Networking opportunities with other university professionals and industry suppliers.
- 15% off industry educational products such as books, DVD’s, posters and software.
- Newly added benefit! FREE yearly print subscription to ELEVATOR WORLD magazine for Professional Members.
Please consider becoming a member of Elevator U and attending our 2012 annual conference, held at Michigan State University from June 19-21. More information is included in this packet, including a recap of our 2011 conference, or you can visit us online at www.elevatoru.org. Please pass this information along to others whom it could benefit and feel free to contact me directly. We look forward to meeting you, sharing ideas, having a lot of fun and making our facilities more efficient and safe.
With Regards,
